Customer challenge
Heavily soiled area with flour built up over a long time frame. The area has many different pipes and lots of hard to reach areas. The staff are demotivated because after hours of cleaning it never looks like they have done anything. Also struggling with the weight of the equipment they were using.
R&S solution
Assessed the site and recommended a High Level Cleaning system. This was an ATEX vacuum and carbon fibre poles with various attachments for the piping etc. Training was delivered by R&S to the cleaning team. This has improved health and safety, sped up the cleaning time, made the area clean and motivated the staff.
Customer feedback
Over the moon with the solution. Equipment of their own was purchased. Team are fully trained and certified and no longer feel demotivated. It has been implemented into their weekly cleaning programme.
Northampton Saints
Customer challenge
Looking for a floorcare solution that removes big and bulky equipment. They had extremely large, aging scrubber dryer and buffer machines. Storage space is a premium and staff not comfortable using large, heavy equipment.
R&S solution
Assessed the site and recommended an IMOP XL. Same cleaning width as the larger machines but lightweight and compact. With the addition of the pad drivers this machine can also be used as a Buffer offering a high shine and polish to the floor.
Customer feedback
Purchased IMOP XL, brushes and pad drivers and buffer pads. Customer has now saved money and space and the team are happy that they do not have to operate large, aging and very heavy equipment.
Northampton High School
Customer challenge
There is a large step from the changing rooms to the swimming pool area. The scrubber dryer that was in situ was extremely heavy. One of the staff members was struggling to lift it due to a back/shoulder injury. This resulted in her not being able to fulfil her duties fully. Customer was very keen to get a solution in place that prevented any further injuries and enabled everyone to feel like they were fully contributing in their job role.
R&S solution
Assessed the site and recommended an IMOP XL. The IMOP XL had the same scrubbing width as the scrubber dryer they already had however it is far more agile and lightweight. A demonstration took place and all staff got to try the machine.
